McDonald’s is hosting a customer appreciation day Wednesday, December 22, 2010. What does this mean? It means, buy any Big Mac or quarter pounder with cheese at regular price, and get another one for one penny.
Fuddruckers
- Food Quality: 8/10
- Food Quantity: 8/10
- Cleanliness: 7/10
- Atmosphere: 7/10
- Service: 8/10
- Price: $6-$10
Fuddruckers’ main focus is burgers. You can get 1/3lb, 1/2lb, 2/3lb, a full pound, or even a 2 pound burger. They have the usual beef hamburgers, but also have exotic offerings like buffalo, elk, ostrich, and wild boar. Toppings like bacon, cheese, mushrooms, and peppers are extra, but they also have a toppings bar where you can dress up your burger that is completely free. They have a wide variety of toppings, the usual ketchup, yellow mustard, honey dijon mustard, and mayo, but also offer barbecue sauce, steak sauce, hot sauces, various salad dressings, lettuce, tomato, sliced white onion, sliced red onion, diced white onion, pico de gallo, relish, pickles, and jalapeno peppers.
The burgers themselves taste great, but I love piling on the toppings. You can easily make a burger that you can’t even bite into. I definitely recommend Fuddruckers for a great burger customized exactly how you want it.
Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ
- Food Quality: 9/10
- Food Quantity: 8/10
- Cleanliness: 7/10
- Atmosphere: 7/10
- Service: 8/10
- Price: $6-$10
I’ve visited the Lee Rd. location in the past, and was unimpressed. The Conroy Rd. location is much better. The pulled pork is excellent, as are the rest of their sandwiches. The meat is slow smoked, and you can taste it in every bite. A sandwich might be enough to fill you up, but the sides really compliment the meal, especially the baked beans. I definitely recommend Bubbalou’s for some good barbecue.
