Five Guys Burger and Fries has excellent food. The burgers are cooked to order, as are the fries, which is unusual for any restaurant. Both the burgers and fries are fresh. The burgers are juicy, but not too greasy. They have regular and Cajun style fries. I didn’t try the Cajun style, but their regular fries were plenty flavorful. They don’t skimp on the fries either. Their large order is about a 20 ounce cup of fries, but they overflow the cup and you get almost an extra half cup of fries in the bag. The large order is plenty for two or three people to split.
The great thing about Five Guys is the number of free toppings they have for your burgers. They have 15 toppings to choose from, and you can pick any number of them. I’ll spare you listing all 15 toppings, but I will tell you my favorite: lettuce, tomato, onion (diced), relish, pickles, and A1 sauce. They also have premium toppings like cheese and bacon, which cost extra. Five Guys Burgers and Fries is fresh and flavorful, at a price that is only a couple dollars more than the average over-processed burger joints.
