There are numerous wing places in Orlando, and Hurricane Grill and Wings is yet another one. Hurricane Grill and Wings does little to separate itself from the competition. It has an average beer selection, having about 10 beers on tap, and about 16 bottled options. The bottled beers are often just duplicates of those on tap, and the most “craft” beer is Blue Moon. There are 30 flavors of wings to choose from, with something for just about every taste. I chose the Cajun wings, which are a dry rub. The wings are good size, large in comparison to many other places in town, and they come with a side order of fries or homemade kettle cooked chips. The kettle chips didn’t even taste like they were salted, so came across as being very bland.
Since you get a side, and the wings are large, you can get away with ordering fewer wings than you would at other places, and still be satisfied. I would prefer to skip the side and pay less though. When I eat wings, I don’t want to waste any belly room on anything else. All in all, Hurricane Grill and Wings is good, but isn’t great. If I had my choice between them and other wing places in town, I would generally go with someplace else. But, if you want wings, and this is your only option, it will suffice.
